Global Village program

Habitat for Humanity International’s Global Village trips give participants a unique opportunity to become active partners with people of another culture. Team members work alongside members of the host community, raising awareness of the burden of poverty housing and building decent, affordable housing worldwide. As partners, team members help build a true global village of love, homes, communities and hope!

Thrivent Builds Worldwide
A joint effort of Habitat for Humanity International and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, modeled after Global Village trips. This is an opportunity for Lutherans to express their faith with partial trip funding for Thrivent Financial members. If you are interested in physically helping rebuild communities, please join one of our Global Village teams. They frequently travel to areas impacted by natural disasters, including countries affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and U.S. Gulf Coast communities affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
